The Tendring Cluster has passed 50 members. To mark it, we're giving 50 farms a free pack of 50 trees.
We're very pleased to say the Tendring Cluster now has more than 50 members. Every one of them is a farmer or land manager who has chosen to work with neighbours on the challenges and opportunities facing farming in the Tendring area. This is a milestone for the Cluster.
To celebrate, we're offering 50 packs of trees to 50 members. Each farm that takes part will receive:
a free mixed pack of trees, and
basic shelters and stakes to protect them while they establish.
We hope this opportunity gives members a practical first step, or a next one, towards putting more trees on their farms.
We’ll be officially launching this offer at our Autumn Woodland Cluster Event on the 19th November 2026, at the Watershed Studio. The event includes:
Breakfast rolls to start
Presentations from Cluster Reps David & Pete
Farm walk and talk with Andrew & Allison Bond, and Harry Bryer from Essex County Council
Back for coffee & cake, with a presentation from Glyn Bradbury at the Forestry Commission on other woodland funding opportunities.
